Industrial machine cyclone is a device used to separate particles from gases, liquids or gases and liquids combined streams. A cyclone is usually composed of a cylindrical part and a conical part, whereby current is introduced into the cylinder under pressure. When the current enters the cyclone, rotation occurs, resulting in a centrifugal force that causes particles of different densities to separate.

Cyclones are often used in industry for air purification, as well as for the separation of particles from gases or liquids for recycling or waste elimination.
